Xinhua News Agency reported on December 30 that Huawei Group, in collaboration with Xinjiang Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Investment Group, has built the "ACA Sixth Valley · Moyu Blueberry Valley" at the Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Moyu County, Hotan, Xinjiang. The project has emerged as a benchmark case that shines a light on the fruitful outcomes of industrial cooperation between eastern and western China.

At the Shanghai Fair for Xinjiang's High-quality, Characteristic Agricultural Products held in early December, Liu Meng, head of the Brand and Marketing Department of Xinjiang Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Investment Group, told reporters, "It was once unthinkable that we could grow blueberries in the Gobi Desert of Xinjiang, let alone harvest berries with a diameter of over 24 millimeters. The small-scale trial production has achieved excellent results, with the terminal sales price reaching 100–150 yuan per jin. Mass-market availability is expected next year."

To advance this initiative, immediately after the fair, Liu Xiaoyun, Director of the Agricultural Technology Service Center at Huawei Group, rushed back to Xinjiang. The Hotan "Blueberry Valley" project, which broke ground in August this year, is now under full - swing construction. It adopts Huawei's ACA Controlled Agriculture Model, integrating a comprehensive set of production facilities including solar greenhouses, protected cultivation systems, integrated water and fertilizer systems, and environmental control systems. "Phase I covers an area of approximately 2,000 mu and is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of this year. It will serve as a new benchmark for the modernization of desert protected agriculture and for increasing farmers' incomes through industrial linkage," he stated.
