Huawei Agritech's High-Standard Farmland Project in Kunshan Shines As A Model After One Year
Browse: 220
Recently, the Engineering Center of Huawei Agritech conducted a follow-up visit to the high-standard farmland project constructed earlier in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. One year later, the intelligent irrigation and drainage equipment remains in excellent condition, with rice growing uniformly and ears plump and full. The project has successfully achieved the "Five Modernizations" construction goals and has become a demonstration area for high-standard farmland in Kunshan.
The project relies on the Intelligent Equipment Management and Control Platform of the East China Center. It has built digital farmland equipment, expanded platform management functions, and established new channel water environment monitoring stations, paddy field water level monitoring stations, and 360° visual monitoring for high-standard farmland. These facilities enable the monitoring of disease, pest infestations, seedling growth, meteorological conditions, water conditions, and video images. They also cover water level monitoring in typical farmland areas and water quality monitoring in channels. Equipped with an intelligent field moth-trapping monitoring system, the project has improved the information-based supervision platform for field management, realizing "one screen for all management" and enhancing the informatization level of production management.
In terms of intelligent production facilities, the project is equipped with intelligent pump station management equipment, automatic channel gates, and intelligent field water intake and drainage gates. It integrates and controls IoT devices and intelligent irrigation and drainage systems within the project area, promoting the intelligence of production facilities and enabling online management of farmland water supply, distribution, intake, and drainage. In the later stage, combined with big data analysis from the regional intelligent equipment management and control platform and existing monitoring equipment, the project will realize intelligent analysis of water intake and drainage as well as early warning for water quality data monitoring.
Through the introduction of Huawei Agritech's high-standard farmland model, the project has addressed local issues such as scattered grain field distribution, weak supporting facilities, poor field appearance, and insufficient capacity to ensure high and high-quality yields. It has achieved transformations towards large-scale production and operation, mechanized production operations, informatized production management, intelligent production facilities, and green production development.
